Sandi originally began yoga to complement marathon and trail running in her native Vancouver, Canada. She fell in love with the inner and outer strength gained through yoga. She took her 200-hour Yoga Instructor certification with YogaWorks® (Vinyasa Flow), and her 500-hour certification in India with Aarsha Yoga Vidhya (Hatha).
Previously teaching studio and corporate classes in Geneva, Sandi regularly travels to India and elsewhere to deepen her practice with leading yogis in the traditions of Ashtanga, Hatha and Iyengar yoga. Her personal daily practice is Ashtanga yoga.
Sandi’s classes are well-structured with beautiful flow. Students appreciate the personal attention and helpful alignment given. Connecting breath to movement, Sandi’s classes are energetic, invigorating, uplifting. You’ll be expertly guided through the physical aspect of each yoga asana while also finding the bliss of more openness, balance and relaxation.
Sandi is also trained in Personal Coaching, Whole Food Plant-Based Nutrition and Sustainability. She is committed to supporting others in positive personal development and transformation toward healthier, happier living.
